Recently Retired Neopet "Healthy Foods": Hoard or Sell?

Miss Fortune

Trying to figure out which items to hoard and which items to sell when something is retired at Neopets isn't an exact science. When "Candy Cane" was retired I thought it was a mistake as it is a popular seasonal item that was always a strong seller. Likewise, some of the Healthy Foods that were retired recently were huge pay out items at the Faerieland Employment Agency.

Foods are almost all one-time-use items so when you feed them to your pet they disappear from your inventory. That is one of the ways that the prices are driven up on retired foods. Some things are in high demand for galleries and then there are the people who hoard things that they think will increase in price over time. That really all depends on how flooded the market gets, how many people are selling and how in demand it becomes as a collectable.

The recently retired Healthy Foods include: Veggie Sausage, Medicinal Plant, Vegan Cheese, Vitamin C Tablets, Vitamin B Tablets, Vitamin A Tablets, Calcium Supplement, Iron Supplement, Fava Beans, Prime Veggie Burger, Caramel Baby Cabbage, Beetroot, Organic Red Grapes, Organic Pear, Organic Olives. There may be other items that have been retired but these are the ones that I had in my Safety Deposit Box.

Glad to hear that even Neopets are getting into healthy eating! Now, when do they start doing jumping jacks?
