Recession Christmas Tree
I see I spy a Christmas tree
Within my neighbor's yard
This sounds really desperate, see
But times are very hard
Within my neighbor's yard

I will wait till after dark
Quickly slip and make a mark
Hacksaw quickly cut it down
Cut it clean close to the ground
My kids will have a Christmas tree
Straight from my neighbor's yard
I will burn it in my stove
At season's end retard!
