Are you tired of barbecuing pork, fish or even chicken? Do you want to try something different for a change? If so, then I may have something you will be interested in and that is barbecued prawns! Yes prawns are usually fried up but another way to cook them is to have them barbecued. Dads, barbecue these prawns up for your families or even friends to enjoy. They taste quite delicious and I wanted to share this recipe with you that I know you will definitely like. So now without further ado, I present you with the recipe for Barbecued Prawns!

These are the ingredients that you need to have and how they should be prepared prior to cooking.

18 oz of prawns
2 tbsp of soy sauce
1 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tsp of ginger juice
¼ cup or 1 small stalk leek that has been chopped
2 tbsp of wine
½ tsp of salt
Barbecue skewers

Now that you have all your ingredients ready and prepared, let us go into the actual cooking.

1. The first thing you will want to do, is to wash the 18 oz of prawns thoroughly with water for a short while.
2. After you have finished that, you will want to slice the back of the prawns in order to remove the vein. Do this for each one.
3. When you have completed that task, remove the legs of all the prawns.
4. When that is done, you will want to put all of the prawns into a container. In that same container, also put in 1 tbsp of the ginger juice, the chopped stalk leek, the 2 tbsp of wine, the 2 tbsp of soy sauce, the ½ tsp of salt as well as the 1 tbsp of sesame oil. You will then marinade everything for about an hour or so.
5. When you have finished doing that, put each prawn on a barbecue skewer until you are done.
6. Now your prawns will be ready to be barbecued so get started on that. You will know the prawns have been cooked completely when you see that the shell turns into a nice pink color. That is when they should be removed.

That is it! They are ready to be served for you to eat or for your guests! Summer is not over yet so this is a great little recipe that you can add to your list of things to barbecue. Happy eating!
