Recipe of the Day

Unique Website for Recipe of the Day

S. A. Knight
The recipe of the day website started as a hobby about 8 months ago and now the daily recipe has evolved into a very large and varied collection of recipes of the day.

Many people have contributed their recipe of the day including friends and family. Many of the classic New Orleans recipes from my mother and grandmother have been reproduced on the website.

Other family members have contributed recipes that I had lost and the alphabetical list of all types of recipes include desserts, appetizers, and home made breads, main entrees, seafood and salads and beverages and much more.

The index of past recipes allows visitors to find any of the past recipes of the day by category and alphabetically.

It is a labor of love now and the challenge is to continue to build a unique library of recipes of the day.

There are links to historic events that have occurred on any given day in the year. The daily cartoon has become an interesting addition with the adventures of Jim Bob and Mae who present their own perspective on the life of a married couple.

The website will continue to add a new recipe of the day.

The recipe of the day website is another contribution to food aficionados looking for some unique recipes.

There is also a crossword puzzle of the day and word search and Sudoku puzzles.

Join the fun.
