Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Serves: 4 people
Ingredients
11/2 lbs. boneless, skinless, chicken breasts
1 packet Ranch Flavored Shake 'n Bake
BBQ sauce, marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cover cookie sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
Place the chicken breasts on cutting board, cover with plastic wrap and pound to 1/2" thickness with hammer. Cut breasts into strips. One breast usually makes about 3 strips. Rinse chicken thoroughly in water.
Pour packet of Ranch Shake n' Bake into plastic baggy. Place a few of the chicken strips into the baggy and shake until coated well. Place on cookie sheet. Repeat process with remainder of chicken strips until all are coated.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and bottom is golden brown. Do not turn or cover during baking.
Serve with dipping sauces such as BBQ sauce, Ranch dressing, Marinara sauce or Honey Mustard.
Recipe Options:
Use your favorite flavor of Shake 'n Bake such as Italian herb or even just original. Cut the chicken into smaller pieces to make homemade nuggets that are easy for little ones to eat. Serve with homemade baked sweet potato fries or any other favorite side dish. Yummy!
