Recipe of Green Chilli Chicken Curry!

Ingredients;

Green chillies or pepper chillies about 15 to 20.
Onions(large) - 2 - 3 nos(finely chopped)
Ginger and Gralic paste: about 2 spoons ( Available in Indian Grocery)
Tomatoes 1 : medium size
Cinnamon powder: 1 t-spoon ( Available in Indian grocery)
Turmeric powder: 1 t -spoon.
Garam masala powder : 2 t-spoon ( Available in Indian Grocery..Garam masala powder is a mixture of spices in powder form)
Lemon juice: 1 or 2 t-spoon
Black pepper: A pinch of it or add as much as you want.

cilanthro or coriander powder about 3 to 4 spoons
cumin powder about 3 to 4 spoons

Shredded coconut ( not the sweet one which is available in sweetbay or publix. There is a shredded coconut from Indian grocery get that)
Chicken pieces.

Coriander or cilanthro leaves.
Curry leaves( from Indian frocery) about 5 or 6 of them.

Preparation: 1.First heat about 2 to 3 spoons a oil in the pan , when it is heated add chopped onions, green chillies, fry untill it turns light brown. After it turns light brown add it into a blender.

2. Now 2nd step is take a cup of shredded cononut powder, add 2 t-spoon the garam masala ( if you want more spicy add 3 spoons),a pinch of black pepper, 1 t -spoon of turmeric powder,1 t-spoon of cinnamon powder ,cilanthro powder about 3 to 4 spoons , cumin powder about 3 to 4 spoons fry it in the same pan untill you see the coconut is light brown. MAke sure it is in simmer on the stove ( when it is light brown the coconut smells good, it will get burnt if it is over heated).
( When all these is done it smells too good when you are frying.). After all this stuff fried untill it turn light brown or untill it starts smeling the whole house, remove it and add it to a blender.

3. Add chopped tomatoes (1) ,Lemon juice: 1 or 2 t-spoon, garlic and ginger paste, add in a in a blender. Add all the above things
from step 1 to step 3 in a blender and make a fine paste.

4. In big pot add your chicken pieces and the things you grinded in a blender to make a paste . Add sufficient water for gravy and salt for the taste( about 2 to 3 t spoons of salt or add according to ur taste) let it cook together with the all those things . Taste it later with a spoon after 30 min to check whether the chicken is cooked thoroughly.

When all this is cooking in a pot you can add coriander of cilanthro leaves (chopped ) about 3 to 4 plants and currey leaves( available from Indian grocery) .

You are done now!

Serve this chicken currey with rice or parota or nan bread ( available in Indian grocery) . Its delicious !!!!.

This recipe is very spicy, if you dont like spicy , minimise or lessen the quantity of spices. I myself Can not eat spices which is very hot.I like mild spicy food..
