Palak paneer is a yummy, good for health, low calorie Indian cuisine made from cheese and spinach leaves. Try this recipe it is easy to cook; you and your family will definitely like the taste.
Ingredients:
Spinach leaves (1/2 kg)
Cheese (250 gm)---make its small cubes
Fresh paste of small onions and tomatoes (2 each)
Ginger and green chilly paste (1 tablespoon)
Cumin seed powder (2 teaspoon)
Salt
One cinnamon, two cardamoms, and two cloves
Cooking time required---25--30 minutes.
Step 1
Take the spinach leaves (except the root portion), wash it in clean water and boil it for 5 minutes by adding one cup of water and a pinch of salt in a container. Then allow it to cool and blend the boiled spinach leaves to make a green paste and keep it aside.
Step 2
In a heated cooking vessel, add two teaspoon oil (mustard oil or any oil which you use for cooking) then add the ginger and green chilly paste, onion, and tomato puree. Fry till it turns light brown in a low flame.
Step 3
Add the cumin seed powder, fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add the spinach paste to the fried mixture and add cheese cubes. Fry for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add 4-5 tablespoon of water, half teaspoon powder of cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, half teaspoon fresh cream, and salt as per taste. Allow it to cook for 5 minutes. Palak paneer is ready for you.
Note- Don't throw the boiled spinach leaves water, this is good for your eyes. You can drink it by adding some black pepper powder.

Recipe for Mattar Paneer
Mattar Paneer is a delicious and spicy Indian dish which you will definitely enjoy once you get the right recipe and interest for cooking different cuisines.
Ingredients
Cheese cubes (paneer)-(250 gm)
Cooking oil
2 small chopped onions
Chopped ginger and green chili (1 teaspoon)
Chopped garlic (1 teaspoon)
Cloves and black cardamom powder (1/2 teaspoon)
Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon)
Cumin and coriander powder (1/2 teaspoon each)
Fresh tomatoes paste (4 tablespoon)
Frozen peas or fresh peas (2-3 cups)
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Water
Salt (as per taste)
Step 1
Add two-three teaspoon cooking oil in a heated frying pan and then fry the cheese cubes for 5 minutes from both side in a low flame otherwise it will turn hard and black. Take it out from the oil and keep it aside.
Step 2
Heat one tablespoon oil in a cooking vessel in a low flame add chopped onion, chopped ginger, green chili, chopped garlic, and tomatoes paste. Fry for 5 minutes until they turn light brown.
Step 3
Add turmeric powder, cumin seed powder, coriander powder and fry for another 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add frozen peas to the mixture, stir well and fry for few minutes then mix the fried cheese to the mixture and stir well.
Step 5
Add one cup water and cover the mixture with a vessel cap, and let it boil for some time, until it is cooked properly. Keep rotating rapidly to prevent the mixture from burning or sticking.
Step 6
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Mattar paneer is ready. Serve it hot or cold as per your choice.
