Recipe for Making Pizza when You Don't Have Time to Make the Dough

If you love to have pizza, but do not want to have the fat and calories from a frozen one, or the time to make the dough and assemble one yourself you may not have. Here are some simple recipes you can do at home that give you the great taste of pizza without the time wasted making it or the preservatives and other bad ingredients that come from frozen pizzas.

The first recipe is for a dish called spaghetti pizza. To make this simple dish, start by boiling noodles. You will want to keep them what is called al dente, that means cook them so that they bend but are not mushy. Take one out every once and a while, while you are cooking, and check by biting it. Once you have the noodles done. Put it into a pan and pour tomato sauce over the top. Now sprinkle it with your favorite cheese and toppings and put it in the oven until the cheese melts. This step can be avoided by warming up your tomato sauce in the microwave so that it will melt the cheese as you put it on the table.

The Next recipe is called French bread pizza. It requires a loaf of French bread, which you can purchase from your local Wal-Mart or bakery. Split the loaf of bread in half and put on your sauce, cheese and toppings on it. Once you have that assembled stick it into the oven until the cheese has melted, then pull it back out. And before you know it you have a lovely French bread pizza. The best part about this recipe is that you can use any style of French bread you want. Plain or wheat work the best though, but garlic herb also tastes fine.

This recipe is more for bachelors then the other one. It is aptly named the tortilla pizza. And it requires a flour tortilla. If you like you can try to substitute a corn tortilla, but normally it does not taste very pizza like when you do that. Once again you can put your sauce and toppings on it as usual, but this time if you are in a real hurry it will fit into your microwave. That means you can have it in about the time it takes to cook a frozen TV dinner.

There are many other things you can use to make pizza such as wraps, Pillsbury biscuit dough and other things. So experiment with what you have. Remember it is pizza it will probably taste good any way you slice it.
