Ingredient list to make Meatballs for dogs:
1/2 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. grated cheese
1 carrot, finely grated
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup bread crumbs (whole wheat is healthiest)
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. tomato paste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients together and mix thoroughly.
Roll into meatballs. Place on a cookie sheet sprayed with non-fat cooking spray.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are brown and firm. Cool and store in the refrigerator or freezer.
Warning: If you have doubts about feeding this recipe to your dog, you should ask your veterinarian to be on the safe side. Your vet will most likely tell you this recipe is fine as a special treat. However, you should not feed your dog only human food. Dogs need certain vitamins in their diet. You must consult your veterinarian if you plan on feeding your dog only homemade food.
