AMARETTO MUFFINS
1 recipe Rich 'n' Sweet Muffins
1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
1/4 cup sliced almonds
Prepare muffin recipe as directed except decrease sugar to 1/3 cup. Decrease milk to 1/4 cup and add amaretto to milk.
Sprinkle tops with almonds just before baking.
Makes 1 dozen, about 135 calories each.
Tip: For a diffferent taste, try toasting an additional 1/4 cup almonds and add to muffin batter.
