• 1 cup yellow cornmeal or 1/14 cup corn flour
• 1 cup oatmeal
• 1/4 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
• 1 small can tuna in oil, do not drain
• 1/3 cup water
Grind oatmeal in processor to make a coarse flour. Set aside in small bowl.
In food processor, mix tuna with the oil, and water then add all the rest of ingredient. Pulse till mixture forms a ball. Pulse to knead for 2-3 minutes.
Knead on floured surface till it forms a soft ball of dough. Roll out to a 1/8"-1/4" thickness. Cut into shapes.
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet , at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely.
Warning: If you have doubts about feeding this recipe to your dog, you should ask your veterinarian to be on the safe side. Your vet will most likely tell you this recipe is fine as a special treat. However, you should not feed your dog only human food. Dogs need certain vitamins in their diet. You must consult your veterinarian if you plan on feeding your dog only homemade food.
