We love this quick and easy solution for a meal when time or energy is short.
Start by browning a pound or so of ground beef. Drain. I even pour hot water through the meat as I drain it to remove more of the fat.
Add 1 or 2 cans of vegetable soup. One can also use vegetable beef soup if you prefer. After making it once, you might want to use more or less meat or reduce the soup to one can if using less meat.
Add about a teaspoonful each of mustard and worcestershire sauce. Mix well and simmer for a few minutes.
Serve hot with catsup, on a hamburger bun.

Sounds good :-)
Come on over, April. We're still eating Thanksgiving leftovers, but we'd love to share them with you.
You have such good recipes...I'm coming over to your house for dinner tomorrow! ;-)
Momie-thanks for commenting. Sorry I didn't make myself clear. You don't need to add catsup till you get the meat mixture on the buns. So you wouldn't need to make two batches. Just spoon up the beefburger stuff onto the buns and then add whichever kind each person likes. Or some may prefer none at all.
I'm limited on my hamburger tastes but this sounds like a winner to pass on, or to make for friends. Thanks!
Sounds yummy, except the ketchup part. I'll substitute some Frank's Red Hot for the ketchup. Although, a couple of the kids like ketchup, so I may just make two batches. :-)
Sounds different that is for sure. I can't take ketchup though. Sorry
Sounds good!
I'm definitely going to try this! Thanks much!
