Record Deals Inked for 'American Idol' Lee DeWyze, Crystal Bowersox
Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox Both Winners in 'American Idol' Due to Record Deals
Crystal Bowersox: Don't Feel Sorry For Me, I'm Fine Comments Now Understood
Crystal Bowersox wasn't too depressed when she lost out on winning 'American Idol' season 9 to Lee DeWzye and now we know why: Crystal got a recording contract too!
Being a runner-up on 'American Idol' may feel like second place--and look like second place--to viewers in TV land, but Crystal Bowersox knows now that 'American Idol' produces more than one winner at the end of the season. Bowersox learned that some of the 'Idol' winners win recording contracts instead of titles.
Lee DeWyze Wins 'American Idol' and Recording Contract
Lee DeWyze didn't come out on the short end of the stick either, gaining both the title as 'American Idol' Season 9 winner as well as a recording contract that will enable him to quit his day job. Now Lee will paint music for the world to hear instead of splashing around paint samples in front of customers.
DeWyze sold 'American Idol' viewers and judges better than he sold paint, and the season 9 'Idol' winner has a new recording contract with RCA Records and 19 Recordings Limited. 19 Recordings Limited also signed 'Idol' runner up Crystal Bowersox, who also inked another recording deal withJive.

Post a CommentThat's awesome that they both have contracts already. Figured it was a given for the top two finalists, but it's nice to have it happen quickly!
All of them are winners because others will get contracts too if they haven't already. Nice job.
You're right, they're both winners
