Recycle Your Clothes: How to Turn a Scarf into a Bag

Don't throw away any old scarves you might have lying around, you can turn them into a cute, stylish bag with absolutely NO sewing!

You can have a whole array of gorgeous colours, patterns and sizes for a fraction of the price that a store would charge!

Now, you will need a fairly big, square scarf for this, those teeny neck ones won't be big enough. An average sized scarf will be great.

Simply lay the scarf out on a flat surface and take hold of one corner, tie a knot about 6 inches down the fabric so that the end is visible, make sure the knot is nice and tight!

Repeat this step for all of the other corners.

Turn the bag the right way out and take hold of the free end of one of the knotted sections, tie the end of this to the end of the section next to it and repeat this with the other two sections, what you are left with are handles!

Voila! A cute new handbag in a matter of minutes and no sewing whatsoever!
