Here are the top 5 favorite women's red cowboy boots coming into 2011:
1. Frye Carson Pull On in Red - The Frye Carson pull on boot seems to have hit a high peak in popularity about a year ago - and it's been one of the most popular women's western boots ever since. These boots have a smooth curvy look about them with a cute "bumped" toe look, and are known to be some of the most comfortable and easy-to-wear boots around. The shade of red that these boots are available in is rather bright and bold, with an overall elegant but snappy look.
2. Laredo Madison Red Boot - Here is a traditional western look for women, from a trusted name in women's boots. The stitching on the shaft of these boots is elegant, the shade of red is "burnished" or a darker red look. Just recently I have become aware of quite a number of women searching down this boot specifically.
3. Frye Billy Short Boot in Red - The "Billy Short" boot has become quite the item in women's cowboy bootie looks over the past year or so. Traditional and easy looking western style for women, in a bootie that will look fabulous with either jeans or skirts. The shade of red for these boots is a darker "burnished" shade, a bit darker than with the Laredo Madison.
4. Frye Deborah Studded Boot in Red - The Deborah Studded boot is a design that appears to have been inspired by the "Carson" with a cute "bumped" toe. This red western bootie has studding on the short shaft adding a touch of "pizzazz" to the look.
5. Dingo Prince Street Red Boot - This is another cowgirl bootie style among the top sellers this year, comparable in style to the Carson shortie with a bit of a sharper toe. The red is a gorgeous and dark deep shade. This boot is priced lower than some of the other popular red cowgirl boots on the list, making them a bit easier to purchase for ladies on a budget.
There are of course many more red cowboy boots for women available this year - especially since they have become looked for by women of all walks of life, including even us "city gals!"

Good article, Tonya. I haven't seen too many women wearing red cowboy boots in this area.
