Red Hot Redhead of the Week - Kelly Reilly

A few months ago, Madonna probably pissed Guy Ritchie off by telling reporters that her loveable lump of lard was on the cookie diet. As wonderful as this kind of fad diet sounds, it apparently had a pretty awful side affect: killing Guy's sex drive. Not too much longer, we were hearing about A-Rod's divorce with his way-younger-than-Madonna wife, and the world wondered just how close of "friends" Madonna and A-Rod really were. The subsequent breakup of the marriage of the pop queen and semi-successful director (thanks to who he was married to) and the fact that Madonna's son Rocco was spotted wearing a New York Yankee's T-shirt afterward have apparently pushed the rebound button on Guy, and where better to look for a rebound than in the gaggle of actresses you are working on new films with?

In this case, he went with a fresh-faced 31-year-old actress who has a part in his upcoming film, 'Sherlock Holmes'. Her name is Kelly Reilly, and she is a British beauty whose red hair has been many different shades of the color, from auburn to strawberry blonde, but she looks best with a deep and sultry shade like this (that's her on the left, in case you can't guess). The actress has been in showbiz since age 17, starting her career by working alongside Dame Helen Mirren on a British television show. In 2004, she became the youngest best actress nominee for an Olivier Award, and she won the 2005 "Best Actress in an Independent Film" award at Cannes for her role in the sexy film 'Mrs. Henderson Presents'. But while she's a pretty big deal in England and France, the actress's popularity has yet to really take off here in the states. However, she has a few upcoming projects, and she has a much better chance at someday earning Oscar gold than Madonna does. Madonna attempted it at age 39 with 'Evita', and she really thought she had it in the bag. However, her dreams were shattered when she wasn't even nominated for a best actress award. As it goes in showbiz, musicians always want to be actors or actresses, and Madonna wanted to be taken as a serious actress more than most. So seeing her ex with a younger, very talented young star has got to sting a little.

Like Guy's ex, the unique beauty that is Kelly Reilly isn't afraid to show a little skin (she did quite a few nude scenes in 'Mr. Henderson Presents', as well as a few other films). Guy has stated that snuggling up to his former oversexed ice queen is like holding a piece of gristle, but Kelly Reilly looks very warm, radiant, and soft. So while Madonna tries to temporarily satisfy herself with her new hunk of man meat (And hold his attention for more than five minutes), it looks like Guy Ritchie's rebound may end up being a little more than just that.
