Red Hot Valentine's Day Cocktails: Amaretto Cranberry Kiss
You have probably had your fill of cranberry juice and vodka during the holidays, but this cocktail puts a new spin on this classic. In this red cocktail, you make your normal cranberry juice and vodka drink, but you will add orange juice and some amaretto, such as Disaronno. For this drink, use an ounce of vodka, half ounce of amaretto, and cranberry juice and orange juice to taste. If you want to keep the fire burning, I recommend having just one in your favorite martini glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
Red Hot Valentine's Day Cocktails: Strawberry Martini
You will need some strawberry syrup, dry vermouth, and your favorite gin or vodka. Choose either vodka or gin and add 1.5 ounces into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and then add just a dash of dry vermouth, and slightly more than a dash of strawberry syrup. Mix well and pour into a martini glass. Take a strawberry, slice it halfway up and then use it on the rim of the martini glass as a garnish. You can use more strawberry syrup if you wish and if you want this red cocktail to have a lot of strawberry flavor, you can use a strawberry vodka.
Red Hot Valentine's Day Cocktails: Kerasi
For this red cocktail you will need a champagne glass. Take two ounces of peach vodka, ½ ounce of peach liqueur, ½ ounce of lemon juice, one ounce of cherry puree, ½ ounce of cherry brandy, and some sparkling wine. Put all of this in an ice-filled cocktail shaker and mix well. Simply pour into your champagne glass and place a cherry into the cocktail as a garnish.
Red Hot Valentine's Day Cocktails: French Cosmo
For this red cocktail you will need a martini glass. Take 1.5 ounces of vodka, three ounces of pineapple juice, and ½ ounce of cassis. Put all of this in an ice-filled cocktail shaker and mix well. Then pour this into a martini glass and use a wedge of pineapple as a garnish placed on the rim of the glass.
Red Hot Valentine's Day Cocktails: Cherry Martini
For this red cocktail a brandy glass works best, though you can use a martini glass. You will need 1.5 parts dry vermouth, one part cherry juice, and four parts prosecco. Put the dry vermouth and cherry juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker and mix well. Pour this into your glass and then top with prosecco. Take two cherries on the same stem and place on the rim of the glass as a garnish.
