Red Light! Green Light! (Short Poem)

Have you ever noticed when you want a light to say "Go!"

because you're in a hurry, (can't be late, you know)

the stoplight's answer is predominately "No!"

And then those times when you want it to be red

because you're looking to write something that was said

all the stoplights then decide to be green instead.
