Background on the Store
The Red Oak Pizza Hut has long been considered one of the best eateries in town. In both 2006 and 2007, this store was awarded the honors of having the "Best Hot Wings" and "Best Pizza" in town, as voted on by citizens and reviewed by the Red Oak Chamber of Commerce. Bi-annual inspections conducted by the franchise owner's company have yielded consistently high scores year after year. General Manager Tim Petersen has kept the store such a well-oiled machine that for seven out of the last nine years his yearly scores have earned him a chance to attend Star Tracks. Star Tracks is an annual event hosted by Pizza Hut that showcases their best corporate and franchise managers. Mr. Petersen holds a record among franchise managers for his attendance at Star Tracks, which has caught the attention of not only the franchise company, but even executives in YUM!, the owner of the Pizza Hut brand.
More on Tim Petersen
Mr. Petersen began his career 25 years ago working in the kitchen of a Pizza Hut. One of his mantras often heard by employees is, "It doesn't matter if we want to do it or not. Since we're going to do it, we're going to do it right." This drive to do right by customer and company has led him to be one of the top managers of the franchise, Peak Interests. He arrived as the General Manager for the Red Oak restaurant 18 years ago and quickly established himself as an outgoing, friendly manager. Mr. Petersen is quick to have a smile in his voice and a short joke following. He seems to know what to say to any customer when he's looking to cheer someone's day.
Combining the best pizza around with the experience and dedication of an honest General Manager, Red Oak's Pizza Hut is sure to find more success as it ventures into its delivery service.
