And the food is also pretty good! For burgers and fries, that is. My husband and I typically skip appetizers because it just adds on to the time we spend inside the restaurants and with children in tow; it's usually best to avoid lengthy visits anywhere. However, Red Robin does have ample sized appetizers that are a good meal in and of themselves. The Buffalo Style Clucks and Fries are a basket of boneless Buffalo wings, served with a creamy bleu cheese ranch dipping sauce and a generous portion of red Robin's seasoned fries. Their Chili Cheese Nachos are also a great pick for alight lunch, topped with seasoned beef, beans and crisp, crunchy veggies.
The burgers are Red Robin's specialty however; they have varieties ranging from basic cheeseburgers to exciting chicken, fish, turkey, buffalo and vegetable burgers. My favorite burger is the A-1 Peppercorn Burger, and come to find out, not all Red Robin locations carry this delicious sandwich; it's only available at select locations. It's wonderful, the burger is thick, clearly pre-cut, but still delicious, and it's topped with pepper jack cheese, crispy onion rings, red onions, lettuce, tomato and A-1 Peppercorn sauce. It's spicy and filling, it honestly is the best burger I've ever had and it cannot be duplicated at home. My mom always orders the Whiskey River BBQ Burger, topped with a tangy BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise as well as generous portion of crispy bacon.
They also carry a nice selection of wraps and club sandwiches. The best one I've tried is the Caesar's Chicken Wrap, stuffed with all white meat chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, grated Parmesan cheese and a hearty helping of Caesar dressing. Their French Onion soup isn't bad either, it's got a nice, rich broth and the cheese on top is broiled to perfection!
Their Kid's Menu is also nice, they have macaroni and cheese, chicken fingers, pizza as well as burgers and chicken sandwiches in just the right sizes for little tummies.
Red Robin always carries a really fun line of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I absolutely adore their Freckled Lemonade; it's a tangy, sweet lemonade with fresh cut strawberries at the bottom of the glass. Refills are free!
Red Robin is affordable and fun, and this location is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Even on a busy weekend evening, we are seated quickly, served just as quickly and all of that is very important when you have young children in your dining party.
