Today is the first of 3. Three games that will be played at Yankee stadium for the last time. After this season, Yankee stadium will be no more and the Red Sox look to sweep them for the last time there. Josh Beckett was supposed to be pitching tonight but due to the numbness in his right arm he will sit out and Tim Wakefield will get the start. Tm is coming off the DL and pitching for the first time since august 6th. Pettitte will be pitching for the Yankees tonight. The conditions for tonight are pretty good 77F with 29% humidity. The Sox want to win this series because at this point every game counts. The Rays should have cooled down by now and they apparently haven't and the Twins are 1.5 games out of the wild card. The Yankees and Sox have split their game series so far winning 6 a piece. 7:05 is game time. Go RED SOX!
