Cream Cheese Frosting:
8 Oz. Package cream cheese
1/2 Cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 Cup powdered sugar
1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to three hundred and fifty degrees. Then grease sixteen cupcake cups. Blend the butter and sugar until they are fluffy. Add the eggs in there and blend it well.
Then in a separate bowl, mix the cocoa and food coloring into a paste and then add it to the mixture. Mix the salt and flour together, and include them in the rest of the mixture. Pour the entire mixture into the cupcake cups. Bake for twenty five minutes.
For the frosting, blend the softened cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Blend together until it's smooth and then spread on the cupcakes and top with a plastic spider or pumpkin to give it a Halloween theme.
