Redbox Video Rental Kiosk is Killing Blockbuster Business at $1.00 Per Item

Phillip W. Chambley
Nationwide in-store Blockbuster DVD movie and game rental charges $4.99 for TWO days plus local tax? They also charge a restocking fee of $1.25 after 7-14 days due date on certain items! What happened to their "No Late Fees Policy?" that was so highly advertised in the beginning?

Whereas? The basically NEW video game and movie rental company called Redbox, only charges $1.00 per item, per night. "With NO late fees, ever!"

This truly unique video rental kiosk called Redbox, that looks like a "Big Red Coca-Cola Machine," is located virtually everywhere in the USA! Especially in grocery stores, pharmacies, Wal-Mart, Kroger, and even convenience stores, etc.. This also "easy to use machine may even be sitting beside the soft drink machines in your local stores!"

As a former professional market research interviewer. I am always searching for NEW products "that actually work and are completely economical for all Americans no matter how broke you are for the total price of one-dollar per DVD rental?" I can HONESTLY state: This modern-day easy to use invention/machine really does work! Just walk-up and slightly finger-tip press the buttons for searching a movie or game rental.

Then press "select" and slowly slide your credit card or check/debit card and the item will simply "pop out of the machine" similar to a Coke or soft drink machine. Video DVD's and or game rentals are based on a (24) twenty-four hour basis. Starting at 9:00 p.m. local time, and due back the next night before this 9:00 p.m. time period begins once again.

If this is NOT possible to return the item, at this particular time as instructed in their simple and basic privacy policy. Redbox rental company will charge you another $1.00, plus local tax via your original credit card or check/debit card used, for each night that you keep this item, without any late fees. After 30 days, you will be naturally charged an approx. market value amount similar to Blockbuster's policy.

Whenever you get ready to return this rental item to the same machine location. Just simply press the on-screen button with your finger-tips that states "RETURN VIDEO" and then slide the skinny square video-package to the RIGHT of this big red machine, and the mechanism will ironically "Grab it" from your hand and the computer data will process your return information.

In most USA places such as Kroger grocery stores especially? This tall red machine called "REDBOX" is placed outside in front of the store, meaning that it's available for use 24 hours a day. "Which is really great if you somehow get bored with the TV shows in the middle of the night and can't sleep". Just drive-up to the front and purchase your video of choice anytime of the day!

Although? Blockbuster Video dose seem to have certain advantages over Redbox rentals, at this time in history? such as: Their NEW movies are always released on each and every Tuesday for selection, you also have a wider selection in person at the store location to choose from and if there is any problem at anytime? You can immediately talk to a "real live person" such as management, too try to resolve a certain situation, especially your credit card payment.

Anyone who has ever waited three weeks via first class mail to get a popular new rental from Netflix knows about these facts regarding Blockbuster Video rental policies in person. Unfortunately? At this particular time and history of Redbox machine rentals? Their DVD video rentals of movies and games are approx. (1) one month old, with only a small selection of 50-60 recent "TOP HIT" films and or games to choose from in the machine locale.
