Rediscovering the Primary Cause of Cancer

Steve B
The primary cause of cancer was discovered many years ago. The man who discovered this and received the Nobel prize for his work and subsequent discovery was Doctor Otto Warburg. With his training in medicine and chemistry both, he was successful in drilling down to the one primary cause of all cancers. As Doctor Warburg has plainly said in the past, "Cancer has countless secondary causes, but there is only one primary cause." I hope you also can agree with him that the primary cause of cancer is the replacement ( or exchange ) of normal respiration of oxygen in normal body cells to one of fermentation using glucose. It is a proven fact. To say it even more simply, it is when normal cells stop using oxygen to use or burn energy, and turn to sugars to do the same job. They must mutate into cancerous cells to achieve this.

Cancer cells thrive in an environment low on oxygen. Cancer cells meet their needs in great part by the use of a process called fermentation. Fermentation is the breaking down of a substance into its more basic or simpler parts. The cancer cells prefer to ferment a particular substance to survive; sugar. If the human body has a low oxygen / high sugar environment, it is much easier for cancer to form, since it prefers this.

Many people think the sun causes cancer, or that the constant smoking of cigarettes causes cancer or a high exposure to dangerous chemicals causes cancer. While these things can promote the growth of cancer, they are not of themselves the primary cause of cancer. Have you ever met someone who is in their eighties and you found out they have been smoking cigarettes for sixty or more of those years ? Why is it that some can smoke those same cigarettes for only ten or perhaps twenty years and succumb to lung cancer ? If cigarettes are the true cause of cancer, then it is true for everyone, not just some. You can see from this that the primary cause of cancer could not be the cigarettes, but something else. That "something else" is what Doctor Otto Warburg was awarded the Nobel prize for.

Doctor Warburg is considered one of the worlds most foremost biochemists. When Doctor Warburg had accomplished his studies and was awarded the Nobel Prize for his discovery of the nature and mode of action of the respiratory enzyme, he was lauded by his colleagues. This was back in 1931. Oxygen had only been discovered in 1772 and Doctor Warburg was born in 1883, or just a little over one hundred years after. Yet, with his understanding of chemistry and medicine ( he had a doctorate's degree in both ) he was able to come to the right conclusions on the primary cause of cancers.

As the primary cause of cancer is hopefully rediscovered by the medical community, let us hope that cancer will no longer be the number one killer disease ( of those under eighty five ) in North America, especially for Canadians. Lung cancer is the main cancer by which people die all over the world. If the medical community will recognize the validity of the known works of Doctor Warburg, cancer will no longer have to be such a nemesis to society.
