Redline: Bad Title but Decent Super Car Races

In an hour & forty five minute race, a race driver sends some pills to a super rich client in Las Vegas. It does not take a four hour drive to Las Vegas in a modified Mercedes SLR super car. He wins the $1 million bet for his employer. It's all about high stakes in the Redline movie. I just found a new example of a memory flashback in the Redline movie. Natasha Martin (Nadia Bjorlin) looks at a picture of an accident in which his father died, & then the scene played in slower motion, the car rolled over a few & then the film played rewind in even slower motion. A rich rapper, Infamous (Eddie Griffin) makes normal roads his race course & his driver wins the race without a scratch to the car. However, his driver is arrested & he now wants the multi talented lady mechanic, Natasha Martin who impressed him with her singing & driving to race for him in a $3 million race outside of Las Vegas. The Redline movie is a good show to look at super cars going fast.

As compared to the Too Fast Too Furios movie, the Redline movie lacks culture. There is more to street racing than just racing. Where are the street dances, the audio system fights & the crazy stunt bikers? Maybe the people are too rich all they care about is keeping to themselves with the ladies, drinking champagne, gambling money & racing. I reckon the title Fireline would be more appropriate for the Redline movie. Redline is a brand name of a BMX bicycle, for goodness sakes! Anyway, Natasha Martin is so good & confident with her skills that she answers her cell phone while racing. While her soon to be boyfriend, the G.I. from Iraq, Carlo (Nathan Philips) just seems to be a magnet for fights. Well, at least he did be a knight in shining armor for Natasha in a disco. Race day begins & the rich folks bring out their Super cars for the big race. You can see hot Super cars like the newest Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, & Lamborghini in the Redline movie.

The shifting of film shots coinciding with the sound of revving engines is reminiscent of the movie Too Fast Too Furious. To me, Redline is a posh version of the Too Fast Too Furious movie. In a fit of desperation to win the race, Jason; Carlo's brother uses nitro but unfortunately the Lamborghini he races flips over like a flung pancake because it lacked the proper aerodynamics. The movie race takes an action hero twist as the G.I., Carlo (Nathan Philips) wants revenge for his brother, Jason (Jesse Johnson) who won the race but lost his life. I reckon Jason would have won the race safely anyway in a better car like the F1 racing cars. Natasha Martin ends up with Carlo's shady uncle, Micheal (Angus Macfadyen). She does not know that her employer, Infamous (Eddie Griffin) made a bet with him. The bet included the lady & she wakes up after the crash in Micheal's house.

Infamous lost the bet & Carlo's crazed uncle takes his prize, including the woman to join his personal harem in the Redline movie. The Nadia Bjorlin looks like a better, full bodied version of Lindsay Lohan. It seems that the Carlo's uncle is in even bigger trouble where he owes an even bigger crime lord $80 million in the Redline movie. Although his purpose was to kill his uncle, Micheal (Angus Macfadyen), Carlo (Nathan Philips) decides to call it off. Instead, he only manages to save Natasha Martin (Nadia Bjorlin) & escape. Now, instead of him hunting his uncle, he & the lady has become fugitives. There is no sex scene in the Redline movie but quite an offering of sexy "skin". Like racing days on the F1 or MotoGP races, there are good looking ladies & some scantily clad pretty babes in the Redline movie. Although, not nearly as revealing as the ladies in the Too Fast Too Furious movie.

Natasha Martin (Nadia Bjorlin) races the final big race & is just about to win when she stops inches away from the finish line in the Redline movie. Cheeky! She does not have to win the race because her mother, who is taken hostage by the Micheal (Angus Macfadyen), is saved by her G.I. boyfriend, Carlo (Nathan Philips). Micheal loses everything & probably his life too. Natasha's band makes a record hit & they all live happily ever after in the Redline movie. Plus she & her boyfriend receive new super cars as presents from their rich friend. Marvelous!
