The best thing about Reebok's new campaign is an interactive website, which allows runners from all over the world to meet, chat, and discuss running. Running is more than a hobby, or simple exercise. Running is a lifestyle. Run Easy encourages all runners by emphasizing the importance of enjoying the run, rather than dreading it.
The campaign is aimed at promoting running as a sport and hobby. The website www.goruneasy.com, shares maps and photos of some of the best running sites in the world. It is free to join and users can add their favorite run, map a new run, download a pre-planned run, download a playlist, or share their favorite playlist. Runners can find out where their neighbors like to run, map their next 5K, or decide where to run next time they are out of town.
Popular runs in major cities are pre-mapped. Find the best route at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, San Fransisco's Golden Gate Park, a 2.9 mile New York City Run, or a 9 mile round-trip run in Manhattan. Viewers can find popular river, park, and race runs. Training for a Marathon? Find the marathon route and practice like the pros.
