Reese Witherspoon on Robert Pattinson: "I'm Not Gonna Lie. He's a Very, Very Handsome Man"

Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson are scheduled to appear in a new movie, and it's not a vampire flick. "Water for Elephants," a movie set to be released in 2011, and based on the book by Sara Gruen, stars Reese Witherspoon as Marlene Rosenbluth and Robert Pattinson as Jacob Jankowski. Said Reese Witherspoon on Robert Pattinson, as reported at USA Today, "I'm not gonna lie. He's a very, very handsome man."

About this time last year, Robert Pattinson hinted at quitting acting. "I don't even know if I want to be an actor that long. I don't even know how to be someone else... if I start doing lame work, I'm not going to stick around and do it," Pattinson said. Pattinson is best known for his work in the "Twilight" movies, but one can assume that he's interested in moving on. The "Twilight" craze won't last forever, nor is it likely to get him an Oscar. With movies like "Water for Elephants," he has a better chance.

Is Robert Pattinson hot? Some actors are hot, with no need for debate. Brad Pitt in his younger days comes to mind. But with Pattinson, it depends. Even though he was the winner of "Glamour" magazine's "50 Sexiest Men of 2010," is scruffy sexy?

Reese Witherspoon, who last dated Jake Gyllenhaal who is now dating Taylor Swift, thinks so and she enjoys working with handsome actors. "Someone's gotta do it. It's like America's Test Kitchen, but for making out with hot co-stars. I do it for the girls. I love my job. They're all really good guys. And I know all their girlfriends," says Witherspoon.

Lots of everyday girls are smitten with Pattinson as well. Reese Witherspoon on Robert Pattinson reports that there were "girls waiting at 5 a.m. on a set in the middle of nowhere just to see him."

Robert Pattinson is dating Kristen Stewart, although the two have kept it fairly under wraps. Even so, as Pattinson continues to hold the "hot man" status, is Stewart holding on to Pattinson's hand extra tight?
