Reese's Select Peanut Butter Cremes: A Product Review

I have a mega sweet tooth, and when I spot a new candy, especially if it involves chocolate, I can't resist. I have to try it; strictly for research purposes, of course. I feel that someone has to take the risk and bite into the new munchies to determine: a) whether it's edible b) if it's worth the price and c) if it's something I'd buy again. Just consider me to be a selfless public servant. It's tough work, but someone has to do it"

Reese's Select Peanut Butter Crèmes are just what the name states: smooth, creamy peanut butter covered in rich milk chocolate. A bag of approximately 18 individually wrapped candies weighs 8 ounces or 226 grams, and was selling at the supermarket for $3.99. That seems a little pricey for half a pound of candy, and there are certainly more economical choices available on the shelf. But before you dismiss these morsels as way over-priced, I must say, as far as sheer creaminess and taste go, they rank up there with candy shop creations.

I wouldn't classify them with names like Lindt and Godiva, but then again, those chocolates often go for $10 to $15 per pound. The chocolate is rich and smooth, and the peanut butter filling is nothing like the texture of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. It is lusciously soft and creamy. The combination is to die for.

You certainly won't find this candy on any diet plan, but when you are thinking about indulging a bit, these make the cheat totally worth it!
