Referring to Television Shows in Shorthand

Bridget Ilene Delaney
Lately it seems that many shows seem to have character names in their titles. At least this is true for many shows on Disney and Nickelodeon (and there are some on other channels as well). While the show may not actually be titled with the name of the character, the character's name does appear in the title. Sometimes the show may even be referred to by the main character's first name when it does not appear in the title. I know that in my house, it is common to hear the name of the show replaced with a single name. In fact, I have heard this among others as well. Here is a list of the shows that contain names and next to them are how they may be referred to in short.

Good to know, and that's even if I have never gotten around to watching the majority of these shows.
