Reflection

Look at you standing there as if life has let you down,
you watched your life falling downward and didn't even make a sound,
your priorities are all screwed up and your mind is going to shit,
and there is no body left for you to blame you are one who followed through with it.

I cant even put into words the sickness you have put me through,
are you even listening to what I am saying look at me when I talk to you,
feeling sorry for yourself just gave you another excuse to use,
putting every one else 2nd enjoying every second of this self inflicting abuse.

Oh so now you feel like crying please don`t think for a second that I believe,
that you were considering any of us as you wiped the blood off your arm with your sleeve,
go ahead and lie once more and tell me how you are not going back,
will power and strength are something we both know that you truly lack.

Look me in the eyes and tell me you know the damage you caused,
putting us in dangers paths and breaking all the laws,
strange people walking in your home and left outside alone now with your child,
if you wouldn't have been so high at the time then a police report could have been filed.

But nope you sat upon your throne as if you were queen of the land,
handing off a bag of dope to anybody with money in hand,
now you wonder how well your body is and worry you might not wake up the following day,
just think of all the wonderful words you`ll miss hearing your children say.

Look at yourself as you yell in this mirror hoping to make this sink in,
start with yourself by being honest and true try being your own best friend,
then when you are stronger and can put your children's needs before your own,
start being the mother they need in their lives before they are totally grown.
