Reflections in the Snow

Sunshine dancing on snow flakes
Ice sparkling along the ground in the twilight
Snow covering the leaves that lay on the ground coating even the silent rakes --

Stars hidden behind a heavy dark cloud
Whispers' fading on the winds as the sun takes flight
Frozen words left to linger heavy prints over the ever broken sound

Dancing raindrops, freezing dust soon sparkles as individual stars
Ripples fading fast as the waves soon become a distant memory, some other plight
Rumbling motors give way to silence as the rows will with parked cars --

Snow drifting slowly from the skies
Silence so loud the echo of each word stretches through eternity
Sailing vessels sail often upon seas that cross many a sand that's still and sun-bleached dry --
