Refrigerated Apple Juice Review: Minute Maid Kids Plus 100% Apple Juice
Lots of Vitamins and Lots of Great Taste
Before even tasting this juice I scanned the ingredients and nutrition facts. Not surprisingly the Minute Maid Kids Plus 100% Apple Juice listed vitamins A, B6 and E, calcium and thiamin with 10% and vitamin C with 100%. I thought that this looked really good. The ingredients were pure filtered water and concentrated apple juice with less than 2% of calcium citrate, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, thiamin mononitrate, vitamin B6 and citric acid. The other nutrition facts included 110 calories, 20 milligrams of sodium, 240 milligrams of potassium, 28 grams of total carbohydrates and 26 grams of sugars, even though there was not any added sugar. In addition to not having any complaints with the nutrition facts and ingredients I did not have any complaints about the taste.
I poured a glass for my son and I and we tried the Minute Maid Kids Plus 100% Apple Juice. I thought that it was some of the best apple juice that I have ever tasted and my little one did not have any complaints. The juice lasted about a week, the container contained 64 fl oz, which worked out well because it is recommended to use it up within 7 to 10 days. The juice tasted as good as it did on the last day as it did on the first day. The juice was $2.73 and unfortunately I can only find it at a grocery store that I do not go to too often. However the expiration date was about a month away so the next time that I am in that grocery store I will definitely consider picking up a container if not two.
I would definitely recommend the Minute Maid Kids Plus 100% Apple Juice to anyone who likes apple juice. Even though it is not organic I see myself getting it more than Cascadian Farm Organic Apple Juice and Hansen's Natural Junior Juice Organic 100% Apple Juice. I am very glad that I tried it, will be sure to get it again, and will consider checking out other juices from Minute Maid.
