Regain Poreless Skin

Rita Jan

We have all seen the beautiful women (and men) who seemingly have flawless perfect skin. Their skin is poreless (which means no blackheads) and smooth and all one shade, rather than that patchy, pasty redness which you seem to be stuck with. Irritating, isn't it? Well, clear skin is not just meant for the insanely beautiful models. You can have it, too. Here are the fool-proof ways to get the job done:

Never let impurities touch your skin. This means makeup, dirt, weather or bed sheets. You absolutely must keep all dirt away from your face. Considering that hands are known for picking up and tracking bacteria, stop touching your face all of the time! If your skin needs stimulation, do it with a good wet scrubbing and/or facial massage every morning and evening. In the meantime, leave it alone. Before applying makeup, do two things. First, use a super-tough cleanser to strip away any possible surface oil. This may not immediately get rid of your blackheads, but it will succeed at this over time. Second, cover your entire face with a finishing serum (primer). Finishing or application serum/primer is designed to keep makeup from actually touching the surface of your skin or getting inside your pores. Trust me, that is a good thing.

Always allow your skin to breathe. Every day, get rid of all of your makeup, your lotion, your moisturizers, and just allow your skin to breathe for at least 30 minutes. Your skin is an organ, and it must be allowed to breathe or it will not be healthy and flexible. Think about what would happen if any of your organs were denied oxygen. They would become hard and dry and shriveled up. You must allow your skin to breathe, so refrain from putting on a face mask or skin cream right after you take off your makeup. Instead, give it time. Enjoy a glass of iced tea out on your back porch while you look at the moon in the evening.

Regenerate your cells with sunshine. Yes, yes, we've all heard the scares about melanoma and skin cancer. Unfortunately, these scares often take precedence over the truth. In reality, skin needs water, oxygen and sunshine daily, just like living plants need them. I am not suggesting that you spend six hours getting a third-degree sunburn. I am suggesting that you take 20 minutes every day to spend some time in your garden or taking a walk or relaxing in your front yard. Your skin thanks you for such refreshing treatment. Your skin cells need chemical energy found only in sunshine in order to regenerate. Regeneration is what keeps your skin young and healthy. Do it for your youth.

Clean, poreless skin requires daily care and attendance. Keep makeup and dirt away from your skin using serum, give your skin a break by spending some time outside while it is completely clean, and regenerate your cells with a few minutes of sunshine every day. You will soon have the beautiful, clear skin you desire.
