Regiment for a Clean Face

Product Comarisons of Facial Cleansers

Jenia Silver
When comparing facial cleansers and soaps I had used myself, in my lifetime I can state only a few are worth the continual purchase. Some products come on the market and a few later are no longer available. For a person like me, keeping a brand to trust is important. With random mild outbreaks, pores that can flare without the right scrub and dryness occasionally I need a good system to fight the environmental contamination in my skin.

The most effective tools I found to remain beautiful are the soaps, foams, scrubs, and masks, and lotions for the face. I have a history of applying different brands. I am a sort of guinea pig when it comes to trends and well advertised competitors. For the new year new, I can hope for better face care. If you do also here is my comparison of quality results, healthy skin and what keeps pores clean. My advice is to follow my example; talk with your favorite cosmetic counter assistant and sample companies.

Dermatological

One of the best kits I have used. Five step cleansing process. Deep mineral scrub, yellow in color, rich and fll of texture. A firm molded clay to use as a secondary wash. Basic medical clear formula provides a lift up from surface dirt. Medical brand kit comes with five treatment applications for around $50, sold at Ultra Cosmetic Stores.

Clinique

Basic bar soap has a well known reputation. The first professional make u I ever used, given to me by my mother. The three step process comes with a large bar of soap, cleansing liquid, and a lotion. Three various skin types are made in mild, sensitive, and oily. One of the best daily routines to use in the morning and at night to keep skin clean and fresh looking. Sold at department stores. Special three pack sells at around $50, one month supply.

Clearasil

Black head remover scrub. Light and flimsy feeling, with big blue beads inside of the mixture. Does work gradually, not as effective as other brands. Cheap and affordable in the grocery atores under $10

Avon

One of the best products I have ever used from AVON is longer being made by the company. Blue scrub made by clearskin label works excellent. Their overall line of cleansing chemicals is not strong enough to make the changes my face needs. However the prescribed weekly treatment of blue scrub washed with daily is great. sold for $15.

Bath and Body Works Blue Scrub

Queen Helen's

Masks made of natural ingredients are a good cleanser. All formulations of products are based on it's insides. I have recently used the grape seed extract. Recommending as a natural herbal supplement for a wide range of health concerns to include vein and cardiovascular health. Their purple peel mask smells refreshing. Always visible when seed is the residue of germs and oils on my face. Lasts about ten minutes to apply. Mixture is sticky bat removes in a latex type of form. Available at Sally's Beauty Store, cost $5.

Bjore Stripes

Facial beauty strips originated in the early nineties. A cleansing strip aimed to fight deep pores of black heads. A main blemish problems resulting around the nose area. These are a good tool to apply to your skin once a week or at lesser intervals like once monthly. A plaster chalky bandage looking strip which fits and dries hard onto of the nose. Taking up to 15 mints to work, the dirt inside of each tiny pore is noticeable. Good quality product. Buy at drug store, set of three pack costs $10.

Off Brand Labels Soap and Mask

Some off market brands can compete with newer appeals to be all natural. Sold under different titles intended to rival companies from unpopular names. Winter time peppermints, cranberries, palogranite combinations are common. Clay masks cause drying of my skin. Not a good result. Clear wash serums with mint extracts are better then perfume scented chemicals which can cause break outs and irritation in sensitive skin. The cheapest products are sold from $1-$5.
