Raindrops beat against the window
As I lay and thought in bed
And all that time I lay and cried
A lonely drumming filled my head
As I lay and thought in bed
And all that time I lay and cried
A lonely drumming filled my head
My body shivered with all the thoughts
My salty tears, they soaked my hair
The raindrops fell upon my heart
A lonely silence filled the air
The darkness hid in every corner
Silence hung in every place
The ice-cold air, it filled the room
And still my tears streamed down my face
My heart is full of thoughts and tears
Of dreams and hopes that now are dead
And all these things I think about
Have turned to dust inside my head
My head still drums my heart still aches
My tears still fall from eyes still red
And all my thoughts have turned to dust
And float around inside my head
