It is easier for people who don't practice socialization to fall into states of depression. As I stated previously, antisocial people tend to over analyze things. Many times it isn't necessary, and almost all of the time it has a negative effect on the person over analyzing. Socialization helps a person's self-esteem. People in general tend to do things based on what others think about them or what others will say about them. People will always misjudge you, so placing value on what other people think, isn't worth your time.
It is important to socialize with more positive people because doing so can help you enjoy a longer life. Socializing also helps a person feel more energetic. Have you ever stayed in the house for an entire weekend? I bet when you went to work on Monday, you were feeling tired and didn't really want to be there. On the other hand, when we socialize ourselves with others who are positive, our energy levels increase. Socialization is easy, even if you don't have many friends.
Places you could go to socialize are places like coffee shops, local gyms, churches, or any other place where you can find people with similar interests or general things in common. You can also get back in touch with old friends and keep in contact with them on a regular basis. The more you have in common with people, the easier it will be to be social with them. Basically if you love tennis, you'll probably have a hard time trying to socialize with people at a skate park. I'm not saying that it can't be done, I'm just saying that you have to find common ground with people in order for socialization to not be so difficult.
Being social gives humans an actual sense of well-being. Socialization can make a person feel important, which will also help that individuals self-esteem. Things only bother us, that we allow to bother us. So don't stress or worry so much about making mistakes because thinking about things that are negative will bring a negative outcome. Don't let problems like bills ruin your sense of joy and happiness, and make sure that the people you choose to socialize with are positive, up beat, and enthusiastic so that their energy can rub off on you.
