Reivew of The Red Roof Inn in Erie, Pennsylvania: A Great Motel!

Johanna Swith
When in Erie Pennsylvania, you will find many options for lodging. I chose to stay at the Red Roof Inn because this is a very dog friendly establishment, and the location is on I 90. I had never stayed at a Red Roof Inn, but I was pleased with the friendly helpful telephone reservations staff. I felt confident in my sight unseen decision.

The motel was easy to find, and looked good from the outside. The staff was friendly and happy to accommodate my two traveling dogs, as many hotels are not happy with more than one animal. At a great rate of $83 per night I stayed in a spacious business king suite. The room itself was fantastic, clean and comfortable. I loved the big TV, spacious desk, and wireless Internet access.

The Red Roof Inn offers a great selection of gourmet coffee drinks in the lobby, and USA Today newspapers free of charge for guests. Each room is well equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, hairdryers and alarm clocks in business king rooms also.

McDonalds is located next door, a casino is within minutes, as well as a race track, and many terrific dining options. Bob Evans Quaker Steak and Lube, Steak and Shake, are just a few of the nearby dining establishments. You can find many fireworks outlet shops within a minutes drive from the Red Roof Inn in Erie PA.

Lake Erie is nearby, as well as many downtown activities like the local comedy club, the US Brig Niagra, waterparks and beautiful beaches.

Lake Erie is a fantastic region for wine making. If you enjoy a nice bottle of wine. Try a bottle from the Johnson Estate winery. There is no better place to kick back and enjoy a great bottle of wine, than the Red Roof Inn in Erie PA! The Red Roof Inn has rates from $59.99 to $129.99. I would recommend the Red Roof Inn in Erie PA to anyone who is looking for a clean and comfortable room. If noise bothers you, ask for a room on the back of the motel, as I90 is within 30 feet, and you can hear trucks driving through all night long. Other than that, I had a great stay at the Red Roof Inn!

An added bonus for any frequent traveler, is the Red Roof Inn has a great reward program, after ten nights, you get one free.
