At the end of the day is simply a lamp that burns;

Multitude of storms come raging in and go raging out,

Only to find the lamp is still burning, without a doubt...

It's astonishing how much such a little heart can hold;

Sometimes you've got to put up a smile for the world every morning,

Even when you know your heart cries out of yearning...

Had so much faith, had so much trust

In a flicker of the wand it all went bust;

Where to go now I have no clue,

There is no place to call home, nowhere to head to...

With all your heart and with all your pluck,

You face life's adversities with a smile and take it all as a part of luck,
