You'll need some relaxing aromatherapy bath supplies to get started. First, some mild incense of your choice is needed along with an incense holder and matches/lighter. I recommend soft scents such as lavender, rose or geranium. If you don't like the smoke of incense wafting around while you're in your aromatherapy bath, you can get the same results by using an oil burner.

Next, you'll need a stereo or small CD player and a mixed CD of music that you find most relaxing. This can be anything from classical music to the sounds of nature. The most important thing is that it will help you relax during your aromatherapy bath.

You'll also need a thick, absorbent towel, a warm robe and some soft slippers. These will help you continue to feel luxurious even after you emerge from the aromatherapy bath.

Next, brew a cup of chamomile tea. You'll drink this before you get into the aromatherapy bath to help you relax. Make it as warm as you can and sweeten it with honey.

A cup of scented bath salts in the fragrance of your choice is also recommended, along with an essential oil of your choice. Neroli, rose and jasmine are all good choices as they are soft and will help you relax in your aromatherapy bath.

Finally, you'll need some aromatherapy candles, a fragrant body powder and a fragrant dream pillow for use after your aromatherapy bath.

The first step to relax with an aromatherapy bath is to light the incense or oil burner. Then, put on the relaxing music you have chosen. This is the beginning of setting the mood for optimal relaxation.
