The biggest obstacle for creative visualization is the tension of the muscles. The relaxation technique I am going to describe here will help you get rid of those energy-blocking points within your body so you can relax and get to the point of making creative visualization a reality.
When the muscles relax, the whole body relaxes, and when this happens the mind starts working better. You get to a state that is like sleeping but you are fully awake, fully conscious with your body and your mind in complete equilibrium.
Practice this technique. You will get better at relaxing with practice. If you want to take it do it slowly and in a soft voice. Enjoy!
BASIC TECHNIQUE OF RELAXATION
*Find a comfortable position for your body, preferably lying down with your legs apart, arms separated from your body, palms looking to the sky and fingers loose. Close your eyes
*Let your body be. Concentrate on your breathing. Do not force it, just let it be. Feel how the air come sin and how it goes out. Feel how your chest and abdomen moves as you inhale and exhale
*Breathe in and calm your body, Breath out and feel totally there and relaxed. Inhale and exhale, loose your body.
*NOW bring your attention, your consciousness to your left foot. Relax your fingers one by one. Relax your entire foot
*NOW bring your attention, your consciousness to your right foot. Relax your fingers one by one. Relax your entire foot
*NOW bring your attention, your consciousness to your Knees. Relax them; relax the bones, the cartilages. Feel your legs heavy. They are relaxing.
*NOW bring your attention, your consciousness to your genitals. Relax them, relax the internal tissue,
*NOW bring your attention, your consciousness to your abdomen and hips. Feel like a light warming sensation in your abdomen. It is relaxing. Relax the lower part of your body, legs, knees, foot, and fingers
*NOW bring your attention, your consciousness to your back. Feel how it touches the floor. Let it rest and relax on the floor. Feel how heavy it is and how it sinks into the floor. Relax
*NOW bring your attention, your consciousness to your Chest. Feel a great warming sensation in your chest and your internal organs, heart, lungs, stomach. Feel your heart beat.
*NOW bring your attention, your consciousness to your left hand. Relax your fingers. Relax your entire hand. Relax your left arm, your wrist, and then your left shoulder. Relax. Feel your left arm heavy and relaxed. Do the same with your right arm, fingers, shoulder. Relax both arms.
*NOW bring your attention, your consciousness to your neck. Relax it. Let it get loose. Feel how the air passes through your throat
*Relax your mouth, your lips, your throat, and your face bones. Relax your cheeks, nose, and your forehead. Relax your eyes
*Feel this sensation of profound relaxation of your entire body. You are now completely relaxed. You are in harmony with yourself and your environment.
Be in this delightful state as much as you wish. When you are ready to "come back," do it slowly. Start felling your breathing again and do 2 or 3 strong inhalations and exhalations. You are fully awake and feeling good!
