Religion - Misunderstood and Misinterpreted

Today the whole world is at each other's throat for the sake of religious belifes that were taught and upheld by our forefathers for centuries.No one is ready to stop and wait to listen what actually was told and why was it told.All religions teach us to be good samatarians as we all will have to answer to God either after death or on Judgement day-still we Bomb each other -Kill millions of innocents in name of religion -why?

We never try and look back why so so faith had originated and what was the political situation then.I feel all religions originated beacuse of solely one reason-To instill faith in the weak and ask them to boldly fight for their freedom.It will be no surprise if after two centuries people will be praying to Gandhi or Nelson Mandela .Claiming to witness some miracles from them and putting them on pedestals and calling them incarnations of God Or God's children.
I believe Jesus,Mohammad,Ram,Budha all were Great men of their times -who fought for their beliefs and won.They tried to protect those who were mistreated and were enslaved by tyrants.They gave their lives for their people.Henc epeople started worshipping them slowly forming cults till it developed in to religions in varied forms- which we see at present.

I can not prove this theory but If you actually see the political situation of that time and see the way people were salvaged and leaders were sacrifced You need no other proof.

Now what started happening was their stories kept spreading and people either as a way to rememer them or for their own selfish aims startyed adding certain rituals to their stories.Mixing some forms of miracles to these stories about their legends.Till people actually believed them to be true.Over the centuries people experienced these miracles too why because I think human mind is amazing -If we sicerely believe somethingwill happen it happens.O many times our faith misfires too but we have short memories and selective memories.Our faith gives us a string to hang on despite all our troubles and miseries.We love to believe in paranormal-unnown,hence we choose our God conciously or unconciously.So many times religion is hanfded down to us by our parents and families.we beleive because they believe. Sometimes we break free of them and follow the religion we choose.

Ifeel fiighting over religious believes gives us a superiority complex and a means to justify our display of more basic animal instincts.We have started living in a civilised society but we are basically animals .Our education and sociey's bindings teach us to suppress our wild nature so we have invented religions to do that-we kill animals in anme of religion-we kill each othe r in name of religion.

Religion is has been used as a guilt reliever for centuries and is being used like this even now.It is up to us now to see and feel and again reinterpret our religion.The Choice is and has always been in the hands of our own society and Its time to choose again now.Are you ready to redefine religion?
