If you are relocating to St. Charles, Missouri, and need to purchase or rent a home, you will want to consider the attributes and amenities of the neighborhoods where you may decide to live. You can spend an extended amount of time running around town with an agent, or you can view these neighborhoods and get the inside scoop on each before you ever start to look. This may help you to eliminate or pursue certain neighborhoods that fit your family's needs and ideals.

Get what you really want by planning ahead. First, you can start by making a list of the amenities that are important to you and your family. Here are some important factors to consider in choosing the right home for you and your family.

1. What school would I like my child to attend?

2. How close am I to shopping, doctors office, & hospital.

3. How far is access to major highway or work?

4. What amenities do I prefer in my subdivision. Newer homes, Older homes, Big Trees, Sidewalks, Two or Three Car garages, Common areas or Parks.

5. What security is provided in my subdivision and who lives there? Is there a neighborhood watch? Sex offenders?
