Logan is a safe place to raise a family; there is virtually no crime to speak of in Logan, Ohio. Logan is a quiet city, and it is not uncommon to feel like you have the city all to your self. Older folks retiring and young families are drawn to Logan Ohio for the peace and scenic beauty.
Logan is a great community. Activities for resident's enjoyment range from Late Night Logan when the shops downtown are open later. Frequently themed hikes and special events are held at the State Parks. Logan is ideal for outdoor adventure seekers. Over ten thousand hiking trails await your discovery. Logan offers fabulous fishing, boating and camping.
The Hocking Hills attract more than two million visitors every year. Many of the jobs available in Logan involve the tourist industry, like cabin rentals and resorts. Logan is a great place to call home. This area has been nationally recognized as being one of the most dog friendly destinations in the United States. This is true for visitors but you will find it increasingly difficult to find housing that allows dogs.
Logan does not offer many employment opportunities. Most residents commute to Lancaster or Columbus for employment. Job and Family Services in Logan offers a one stop job search, but it is a waste of time as there are no jobs in this area, and the staff at Logan's Job and Family Services is utterly worthless. These people on staff are the most useless ignorant people Logan has to offer.
Logan is an extremely poor area but you would not know it by looking on the beautiful city. Residents in Logan take a lot of pride n the appearance of their city and homes. For a nice house or apartment in Logan expect to spend about six hundred a month on rent. Apartments are available for prices as low as $250 per month, but these apartments are not nice, and realistically unfit for any human to live in. Mr. Bill Helber and his wife Mary, run the largest amount of "slum" apartments in Logan under the name of Christman reality. Avoid renting from these ancient people. They are very rich, but they will not spend any money on their apartments. Most should be condemned.
