Through the song "Strong", Angelica declares personal triumph over her own struggles she experienced as a result of a demeaning marriage she became entangled in. Through the lyrics, "...controlling thoughts, controlling words/have tried to shut my song/I didn't look beyond the darkness/Thinking that I was wrong.../"depict the emotional feelings Angelica first encountered as a result of her tumultuous marriage. Angelica's musical ambitions were becoming harder to achieve as a result of not having the love and support from her former husband, "I put my trust and dreams in the hands of someone who I thought only wished the best for me," she stated in her 2010 self-written book Remember Who You Are-The Story Behind the Song. Though it was hard to remain focused on her dreams and musical aspirations, Angelica was able to overcome her most challenging obstacle when she decided to end her marriage. Angelica's personal triumph and victory was outlined throughout the chorus of "Strong" as she musically exclaimed through song, "...Strong enough to let my truth shine/I'm strong enough to genuinely smile/I'll open my arms and find love again/I'm strong enough to show and say who I am.../" Through the song, Angelica is able to teach others of perseverance and faith through life's most difficult obstacles.
After experiencing years of turmoil and despair, Angelica was able to overcome these challenging obstacles with faith and determination for a better life. After relocating 10 years ago from Romania to Canada, Angelica was able to grow and adapt to a different culture and lifestyle she was not previously accustomed to. Though she had to learn a new language and experience a new lifestyle, Angelica never gave up on her dreams and ambitions of singing. Through the song, "Remember Who You Are", Angelica encourages others to never let go of their true passion while singing, "...It's all right if you lost your way for a while/It's time to be still, the truth lies inside/Nothing else left to say but to cherish your greatness.../". Through the song and album, Angelica wanted to inspire others to follow their passion. "If more people find passion," Angelica states, "then more will have inner peace." This strong faith and determination would carry Angelica to the next chapter in her life, as she began to experience happiness and love throughout her personal and professional life.
After regaining her true self-identity, Angelica began to transform her own personal stories of perseverance and hope into beautiful songs of love and encouraging words of wisdom. After experiencing a hardship within her previous relationship, Angelica was able to find a remarkable and everlasting love in her newly formed life. After remarrying and having a child, Angelica began to experience several positive changes in her life. In the uplifting track "You're My Reflection" Angelica intimately proclaims her love and adoration for her new husband as she sings, "You're my reflection/My soul's expression/My love for you goes far beyond the sun/I know that you and I are one.../" With the love and support from her husband and daughter, Angelica was able to again concentrate on her true passion of singing.
In 2009, shortly after starting her family, Angelica released her debut album and inspirational autobiography Remember Who You Are. The album and book portray the early beginnings of her childhood and more recent years as a passionate singer, loving wife to her husband, and adoring mother to her young daughter. Since launching her debut album, Angelica has sang live in front of various audiences including her most memorable stint performing onstage during the 2010 Toronto Film Festival held in Canada. Angelica's vocals intrigued many listeners, as hundreds of spectators stopped to witness the beautiful sounds deriving from this International singer. As people began to cover the streets and sidewalks outside of Yorkville's Vaticano Restaurant, many were amazed to hear Angelica's strong and powerful vocals as they illuminated the air. Traffic was at a standstill, prompting Police to end Angelica's two-hour concert. After the concert, many listeners were eager to learn and hear more from this inspiring singer.
Since she performed live during the Toronto Film Festival, Angelica has been staying very productive and busy with her work. Remember Who You Are-The Story Behind the Song, Angelica's personal Memoir/Autobiography, is currently being sold at all Borders and Waldenbooks locations around the Country. Soon, Angelica will embark on a National Book and cd-release in-store signing for listeners and fans.
