Remember when it Rained: A Tritina

A Love Tritina

Khara E. House

The laugh lines of your face, your tiny wrinkles
Traces of you, life lined like a rolling river
Graces of you flowing like a gentle rain

Remember this--in springtime with the falling rain
The down of pillow, quilted bed, the sheets in wrinkles
The crown of laces blanket you in flowing river

And you and I--we melt like water of a river
We tear and tarry, soft as scent of passing rain
We dare the time to linger, tucked in blanket wrinkles

Your smile wrinkles, eyes a river, love like rain
