V Goes to Washington

Anyone who saw the film or is familiar with the graphic novel of V for Vendetta knows what it is about. A terrorist/freedom fighter going up against a fascist british government in the near future.

With so many of us having an unheard hue and cry over the decline and destruction of our Constitutional rights, sometimes one has to wonder if radical action will come to pass on the part of the people.

The election shows that people aren't going to sit here and take it anymore.

And the link above shows that some people are going a step further and filing suit with the government for the crimes committed.

Let's see how many turn out tomorrow to protest.

V stands for a lot of things. Valience. Vanguard. Voice.

Let's hope it stands for Victory.

The election turnouts this November showed that the people are taking action through the channels given to us. The sort of revolutionary actions as taken in the movie/graphic novel are the last resort. "When in the course of human events it becomes necessary" - as the famed document states. It's when the chanels are ignored, overturned, or manipulated as in cased of voter fraud that more has to happen.
