Remember...God Is with You

Harold Dean Sink
If you think you are alone even though you don't live alone there is one thing to remind your self of, "God is with you, so you really are not alone."

If you think nobody cares about you, including family and friends then remember one more thing, "God is with you, and cares for you, too."

If you think that nobody loves you, be it husband, wife, son or daughter, father, mother, sister or brother, or whomever you love so much remember one more thing, "God is with you, and loves you very much."

If you think there is no hope for you, spending money faster than you can earn it, or circumstances are never for you but always against you, remember one more thing, "God is with you, and controls all things."

You see, all you need to do is turn to God for the friendship, care, love and needs in your life. He will be there for you always. God will never let you down. If you think He has, think again. Only you can let yourself down for you are your own worst enemy.

All God wants from you are two things. Yes, this is true. Well, make it three. They are so easy to do that you may forget how easy it was when you did them.

The first thing God wants from you is a one-on-one relationship with Him. He seeks your love more than you seek His. There are several passages mentioned in the Holy Bible about this.

Second, God wants you to share that love with others. Remember these two passages from the Holy Bible, "Be kind to one another," and "Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you."

And finally the last of these is to tell others of God's message. His message? You should know it by now.

Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Why? Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. He paid the price for us so that we no longer need to make sacrifices on alters to God, whether they are to please God or for any sins committed.

This way, all you need to do is to get down on your knees, and ask God for forgiveness or to praise Him. You no longer need to go to a priest, preacher, pastor or rabbi. You can go "directly to God" in your own home.

You may be seeking God and may not realize it. Whatever your case may be pray this prayer each day, to find out what God has in store for you.

"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Remember that God is with you and does things in his own time frame. He may not answer every prayer, but answers those that He believes should be answered. One other thing to remember is that God knows your heart. He knows when you are not sincere in your prayers and are not doing His will.

When you pray, be specific in what you pray. Many of you may not believe in God. That is your choice. He gave us all free will. Here is some food for thought. If you don't believe in God then Satan has beaten you.

Satan no longer has to "work" on you to keep you from God. He has fooled you into believing that God or gods don't exist, and also that Satan doesn't exist either. If you believe in Satan and not God, that is just ridiculous. How can you believe in someone who was created by God, and not believe in God? That is like saying you believe in evil and that goodness and love do not exist.

Remember...God is with you at all times. He is all knowing, ever present, and eternal.
