Remembering September Eleventh

Casey C
Woods of attire, boots are shinned,

ready to fight in a land mine.

Never forgetting that September day,

when the towers turned to dust.

Families dreams swept away all because of an evil mind.

Rest assure to this destruction,

America is coming to get ya.

You entered our country destroying lives,

taking our children away.

We will never forget that day, we were saddened,

while you were laugh in.

Laugh no more because we got ya.

Buried your soul in the sea,

seems heartless but we are pleased.

Your life has been destroyed.

Remembering September 11th.

Amen. :-) Fabulous 9/11 poem, I loved the passion in it. Nice work. I added you as a favorite. Write on! You do it well.
