Reduces Frizz:
The biggest reason that I bought the Remington Frizz Therapy 1" Straightener was the promise to reduce the frizz in my hair. In product testing, the Remington Frizz Therapy 1" Straightener has shown to provide protection against humidity for up to fifteen hours giving users up to 65% less frizz in their hair. Normally my hair starts to frizz with the slightest amount of moisture in the air. I live on the east coast and we were just hit with over two feet of snow - and my hair still looked great after playing outside with the kids!
Great Price:
Another great thing about the Remington Frizz Therapy 1" Straightener is the price. It retails at Target for $47.49. This is not the least expensive flat iron on the market, but compared to many others, this is a great price.
Easy Temperature Controls:
The LCD screen makes it really easy to know what temperature the Remington Frizz Therapy 1" Straightener is set at. It takes 30 seconds to get to the desired temperature and then lets out a little beep to let you know that it is there.
Hair Looks Great All Day:
The first time I used the Remington Frizz Therapy 1" Straightener I had let my hair air dry and did not use any products. Normally when I did this with my other flat iron my hair would end up straight but be sticking out in funny directions and the ends would look so dry, so I had little hope for this experiment. I was happily surprised with the results. My hair was sleek and smooth and the ends did not look dry at all.
The next time I used the flat iron I blow dried my hair and used my normal hair products. I was again very happy with the results. The biggest thing for me was that I did not have to touch-up my hair at all throughout the day. My hair looked just as good ten hours later as when I first styled it.
Negatives:
There are some negatives to the Remington Frizz Therapy 1" Straightener. The temperature buttons are right where your hands lay when styling hair so sometimes I change the temperature without meaning to. Supposedly there is a way to lock the temperature, but it did not work when I tried it. Also, it does snag hair if you try and straighten too much at one time. So far these are the only drawbacks that I have found with the Remington Frizz Therapy 1" Straightener, so for me it is well worth these slight negatives.
All in all the Remington Frizz Therapy 1" Straightener is a great flat iron for the price. It straightens hair and leaves it looking good all day long. I am finally happy with my flat iron and the way my hair looks.
