Reminiscing

Zenovia B.
No longer filling that space
you occupied
my wonderful friend
my magnificent lover
however still entrenched
in my mind
cutting deep in my heart
I do not give myself
permission
to love again
to enjoy the touch
of another man
I yearn
your golden brown hands
touching me magically
you answering my every request
my body demanded
taking me to heights
beyond my fantasy
mentally fulfilling me
debating life
your eyes piercing my soul
my brown eyes
adoring your form
my mind remembering
your soft lips
your delicious taste
each moment with you
I treasured
hoping eternity
was what you were offering
I thought I would always wake up
in your arms
smile on my face
from the experience the night before
but you are not here
my golden brown man
where are you now
are your hands
exploring a different touch
is your palate
enjoying a new taste
or are
you like me
reminiscing
missing me
as I you.
